PROFILEOS
What ProfileOS stands for.
Software for model agencies and independent models, built on clear organisation and careful data protection – and the principles that guide how it is built.
PROFILEOS
Why ProfileOS exists
This business has its own questions, and general-purpose tools were never made to answer them.
Behind every booking there is sensitive information – about clients, about models and about money. That is no different for a model working alone than for an agency.
Calendars, spreadsheets and messengers are good at what they were built for. But none of them knows that a client can be blocked for a reason, that a deposit belongs to one particular booking, or that a model’s details are not meant for everyone who happens to be in the office.
ProfileOS exists to close this gap. It connects what belongs together in one workspace made for this line of work, so that what you know about a client is at hand when the next enquiry comes in.
PROFILEOS
Our principles
Six things we hold on to as ProfileOS continues to develop.
Clarity before quantity
A function earns its place when it makes everyday work clearer, not when it makes a list longer. Wherever something can be shown simply, we keep it simple.
Data protection as a matter of course
Personal data is part of this work, so protecting it is part of the design – from separate workspaces to Privacy Mode.
Clear rules for access
In an agency, several people work with the same clients and models – yet not every detail concerns everyone. We think that difference belongs in the software itself, not just in everyone’s tact.
Honest about what it does
We would rather name a limit than promise too much. We do not promise you more bookings or higher revenue, and where ProfileOS ends, we want to say so plainly.
One team, several languages
Many agencies and models work across borders, and not everyone in a team thinks in the same language. That is why ProfileOS treats language as a personal choice.
Room for your own structure
No two agencies are organised the same way. Your own fields in forms and several agencies, each with its locations, let you reflect how your agency is set up in ProfileOS.
PROFILEOS
What makes ProfileOS different
It starts from the questions of this business.
Every day, the same few questions come up in an agency: Have we worked with this client before? Who is booked on Friday? Which deposit is still missing? What does each model receive for the month?
The functions themselves are described on the Features page. Behind them stand three convictions:
People first
A booking starts with a client. So in ProfileOS, the client check and a complete client history are part of the everyday routine rather than an exception.
Models at the centre
An agency’s work revolves around the models it represents. That is why every model has a file of their own in ProfileOS – from the details the agency keeps to the Sedcard it sends out.
Money that can be traced
Money is where misunderstandings arise most easily. We want every amount to be traceable to where it came from, so that who paid what does not depend on anyone’s memory.
PROFILEOS
Who we make ProfileOS for
For the people who keep a model business running – a whole office or a single person with a phone.
Agency owners
You look after the business as a whole, and as the main owner you decide how your team is put together.
The team in the office
Staff take enquiries, check clients, plan bookings and send models their booking details. An accountant can join the team in a role of their own.
Independent models
Your account is about one person – you: your clients, your bookings, your advertising and your Sedcard, without the team functions an agency uses.
PROFILEOS
Hold us to it
Principles are easy to write down. Whether ProfileOS lives up to them shows in daily work – and that is where we want to be judged.
The free trial gives you room for exactly that. If you would like to ask us something first, write to us through the Contact page – we look forward to hearing from you.
And if you already work with ProfileOS and find a place where it falls short of these principles, tell us – we want to know about it.
